Based in Midrand, Gauteng, Industrial Measurement Systems (IMS)
operates in the Southern Africa Process Control and Instrumentation Sector of
Industry, primarily involved in the primary measurement and transmission of
Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature, and Liquid Analysis process variables. IMS is able to
support the Client with all its instrumentation requirements from supply,
installation, and final commissioning when called upon to do so.
IMS traded in the early 1980's as the Sole Distributor for KDG
Instruments Ltd. The initial scope of supply to Industry covered KDG's range of
Ultrasonic level and Flow Instrumentation particularly suited to the Water /
Waste Water Industries and KDG's range of pressure and differential pressure transmitters
to the Power Generation Industry. Peter Tranter and Steve Herbst brought their
unique skills into the company and were able to provide both equipment supply
and commissioning.
